Very Good

The location was kite good, its in a quiet place and still connected with things to do around. The staff was a ton of help all the time and I always fell comfortable.

It's a small place, and you must carry the bags in stares. I'm not used to places that small, but you can get used to it.

Staff were super friendly and nice. The rooms and facilities were clean and maintained well with clear instructions for use.

Great value stay

Clean with a great staff. It's close to Asakusa and the Skytree for sightseeing and has a great view of the Skytree from the rooftop. Great value for money.

Water pressure in the shower is low, and there's no elevator so it will be hard for people with any mobility challenges.

The location and the view from my window absolutely. The common space was homy. I really like spending my late night there.

Lovely hostel, with great facilities.

Lovely hostel. Staff were all very friendly. The dorms were comfortable - bed comfy, small shelf and lamp in dorm bed. There was a rack in the the dorm for hanging clothes, and each bed got a locker. The lockers are very thin though, couldn’t fit a suitcase but could fit a backpack, jackets and valuables. Female dorm had its own bathroom. Location was not too far of a walk from the train station and the main area of Asakusa. The roof top terrace had great views of the Tokyo Skytree, especially at night.

The shower took a little bit to get hot water - but hot tip, take a shower immediately after someone else so you don’t have to wait for hot water.

I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

I stayed in the single room. It was great for the price. Room was exactly the same as the photos. There is a mini fridge in the room. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They helped carry my heavy luggage up to the 4th floor and one of the guest-staff(?) helped me carry down my luggage when I checked out early in the morning. The staff thoroughly cleans the toilets and shower rooms, but it depends on the guests to keep the areas clean after use. It’s a quiet area, away from the buzz of the tourist areas and a comfortable walk to the subway.

If you have injuries before, or have heavy luggage, the stairs are a challenge. Private rooms are on the 4th floor, and the common area (and the kitchen) is on the first floor. Maybe bring your own room slippers as the disposable slippers provided are flimsy.

A friendly stay with caring staff.

Very friendly staff and great location. All the facilities were labeled so creatively to let us know what is what.

The capsules could be designed better. There was an extra wood block inside the capsule and I hit my head so badly several times

A wonderful time at Stay Work Asakusa!

It really must have been fate for me to stay here, bc i had originally booked a different accomodation nearby only for my plans to change suddenly. I had walked by this place and thought what a cosy place! And when I rushed to book a new location to stay, the first one that appeared on the list that was affordable and close by was Stay Work Asakusa! The 24 hour shared common room and kitchen was super convenient and comfortable with plenty of places to choose from to sit with a laptop to work or just to chat and eat with fellow travellers. The check in and check out process is extremely easy and the staff are very friendly and accommodating and just generally warm and inviting people who are always happy to chat. (Shout out to Jun and Fen who were so friendly and kind!) There's at least one or two English speaking staff if your Japanese is not very strong. Clean and cosy, and has washer and dryers and hair dryers in the dorms available for use. Shared bathroom and shower facilities which were kept very clean and had floor mats available for every guest to change out. Location wise, it was close by to the station across the bridge and around plenty of food and convenience store options. Prices for a stay of near two weeks was very affordable and I would not hesitate to stay there again. Made plenty of friends and genuinely one of the best experiences staying in a hostel that I've ever had!

I went in the summer, so it's of course just generally warm, but the dorm bunks can be a bit warm due to it being surrounded by wooden walls for privacy and closed with a curtain. The fans and air conditioning don't always manage to enter through the bunks if you're located at the end of the room, so it can be warm at night. I just slept without the blanket and it was fine. The wood walls can be a bit loud if you accidentally knock against them at night or as you get up, so just remember you're in a wooden bunk haha. If you're carrying lots of bags, be warned that there's only stairs so you will have to carry everything up and down.

Overall, one of the best value hostel in Tokyo

They have a spacious and cozy working space, and free coffe and tea, also they have a common comfy kitchen they also have a rooftop with a beautiful view. Another highlight is the staffs are wonderfully friendly.

The location is at the quite area in Asakusa Metrk station area. If you looking for the quite and calm area then its perfect, but I was looking for a hostel which is surrounded by store and restaurant. But overall nothing really botherings me.

Good place to stay

Good location, short walk from centre & station. Staff really friendly & helpful. Very hot in the rooms at night despite A/C & fans. Room big enough not to feel too crowded. Curtains could have been better tho, don’t fit well. Showers good, hot. Bed comfy. Area is safe & lots of places to eat. Nice place to stay.

Could have been better:- curtains round bed. Less cluttered kitchen area. Shelves by sofa taken down so you don’t hit head when sitting!

Very friendly staff. Basic dorm. Comfortable bed. Lot of storage space under the bed. Nice lounge on the ground floor. Relaxing music. Quiet area and nice view of the Tokyo Skytree on the rooftop.

Wonderful

it was a pretty good location, I enjoyed the privacy of the bed and it wasn’t loud.

it was a bit warm in the room. I can see that since I made my reservation about a week prior to my stay, the ratings went down because there where two people living in the hostel. it isn’t a problem for me at all, but it would be nice if they had their things more organized. it was way too much clutter in the room and bathroom (and you couldn’t really tell what was for everyone to use and what was theirs). to me it wasnt really a big deal, I only used the hostel to rest and it was nice and quiet so it was perfect

This place is a Gem

Convenient location, 10 mins away from the Asakusa station and 15 mins away from senso-ji. The 4th floor single room has a clear view of Tokyo Skytree. You can also see the Skytree from rooftop area. Laundry onsite. Staffs are very friendly and offer to help me carry my luggage up the stairs. Bathroom and kitchen are very clean. Coworking space is cute :) Very happy with my stay!

The property has no elevator, I had a 28” luggage and had to carry up to 4th floor, luckily the staff was able to help :) Bed is on the hard side, my back wasn’t very happy but I’ve only stayed for one night so it’s not a big deal.
